Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) YoungHäyhä's Tapani Jokela started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isko Nikko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mika Wallden, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Petteri Santahuhta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tapani Jokela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaleva Puurula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petteri Santahuhta having to interfere. Petteri Santahuhta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaleva Puurula in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeremias Haapala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petteri Santahuhta. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. If Tapani Jokela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petteri Santahuhta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Haapala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Jyrki Lajunen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Petteri Santahuhta. The goal made the score 2-0. Jeremias Haapala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jyrki Lajunen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaleva Puurula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tapani Jokela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Petteri Santahuhta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tapani Jokela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petteri Santahuhta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Jeremias Haapala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petteri Santahuhta having to interfere. With a little luck, Hästilä's Petteri Santahuhta got control of the ball when Kaleva Puurula tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mika Wallden to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jyrki Lajunen managed to get in a good position for a shot. YoungHäyhä's supporters rose to their feet, but Jyrki Lajunen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petteri Santahuhta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. YoungHäyhä's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Markus Lajunen scored to the left of an out of position Isko Nikko, making the score, 2-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in YoungHäyhä fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Hästilä. Miko Nitti stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isko Nikko. 2-2. In the 63rd match minute, Hästilä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Väisänen to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Haapala might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petteri Santahuhta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Haapala ran back to his position shaking his head. Perttu Kananen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petteri Santahuhta having to interfere. Elmo Salonen kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Teemu Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petteri Santahuhta having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Jeremias Haapala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YoungHäyhä fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miko Nitti during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave YoungHäyhä a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tapani Jokela, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hästilä's Petteri Santahuhta. 4-2. When Elmo Salonen fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hästilä's protests and gave Elmo Salonen a yellow card for diving instead. Elmo Salonen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Kaleva Puurula came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the YoungHäyhä fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaleva Puurula couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. YoungHäyhä fully deserved thier win.
