Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 8 minutes into the game, Korentovaara IFK's Samu Ristolainen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isko Nikko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. YoungHäyhä's Isko Nikko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save YoungHäyhä from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Korentovaara IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Tapani Jokela came free, but Tarvo Mikkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jyrki Lajunen's late challenge caught a Korentovaara IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jyrki Lajunen helped the player get up and apologised. Jyrki Lajunen hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of YoungHäyhä:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Korentovaara IFK:s goal. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Korentovaara IFK. Ossi Paananen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isko Nikko. 2-0. Tarvo Mikkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaleva Puurula in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Jeremias Haapala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YoungHäyhä fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 28th minute of the match YoungHäyhä got a corner. Korentovaara IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tapani Jokela ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jyrki Lajunen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Klaus Kirjonen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isko Nikko, 3-1. In the 39th minute, Lari Saarinen made a precise shot to the right of Isko Nikko. YoungHäyhä's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. YoungHäyhä's Isko Nikko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eemil Kärkkäinen in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klaus Kirjonen to strike the kick off in the second half. Kaleva Puurula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tarvo Mikkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isko Nikko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaus Kirjonen in the 70th minute of play. Isko Nikko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samu Ristolainen in the 72nd minute of play. Kaleva Puurula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarvo Mikkonen having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, YoungHäyhä's goal looked a bit too open when Klaus Kirjonen came free, but Isko Nikko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korentovaara IFK's Tarvo Mikkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jyrki Lajunen in the 76th minute of play. Isko Nikko came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Korentovaara IFK's Eemil Kärkkäinen. But to his dismay, Eemil Kärkkäinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Isko Nikko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samu Ristolainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isko Nikko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samu Ristolainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Kirjonen in the 89th minute of play forced YoungHäyhä's goalkeeper Isko Nikko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, YoungHäyhä's goal looked a bit too open when Samu Ristolainen came free, but Isko Nikko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Eemil Kärkkäinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isko Nikko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Klaus Kirjonen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isko Nikko was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Korentovaara IFK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
