Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jussi Vuorio got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Ristilä FC's Kaarlo Saastamoinen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pellervo Heinikallio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Heino Pitkämäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jussi Vuorio in the 12th minute of the match. Kaarlo Saastamoinen took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pellervo Heinikallio. Pellervo Heinikallio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Kaarlo Saastamoinen's late challenge caught a Östrabyugo IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaarlo Saastamoinen helped the player get up and apologised. Heino Pitkämäki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jussi Vuorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Elmer Kamppuri fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ristilä FC's protests and gave Elmer Kamppuri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Östrabyugo IFK booed when Ristilä FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmer Kamppuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timo Korkeakoski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Heino Pitkämäki made a huge save. Leo Takavirta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heino Pitkämäki having to interfere. When Leo Takavirta came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Östrabyugo IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Takavirta couldn't finish the play. Heino Pitkämäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jussi Vuorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Jussi Vuorio got free in front of the goal in the 43rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Heino Pitkämäki was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Leo Takavirta struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Heino Pitkämäki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östrabyugo IFK. The Östrabyugo IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ristilä FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaarlo Saastamoinen was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ristilä FC's Kaarlo Saastamoinen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, Ristilä FC's Kaarlo Saastamoinen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pellervo Heinikallio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antero Ollonen charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antero Ollonen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Östrabyugo IFK got a freekick which was hit by Antero Ollonen. Raimo Kuusinen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pellervo Heinikallio. Östrabyugo IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Östrabyugo IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Ollonen to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Kaarlo Saastamoinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pellervo Heinikallio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Jussi Vuorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heino Pitkämäki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Östrabyugo IFK's Jussi Vuorio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Leo Takavirta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heino Pitkämäki. Ristilä FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Takavirta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Valio Myllykoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Kaarlo Saastamoinen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ristilä FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaarlo Saastamoinen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pellervo Heinikallio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pellervo Heinikallio was a little too slow when Kaarlo Saastamoinen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-4. Heino Pitkämäki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Takavirta's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Valio Myllykoski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pellervo Heinikallio having to interfere. Heino Pitkämäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jussi Vuorio in the 91st minute of the match. Salomon Pihlman hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Armas Huhtiniemi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Ristilä FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ristilä FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
