In the 48th match minute, Tuira Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armas Paananen to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Launo Haapaporras to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Turku getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Kari Kaipainen hit a great ball. When Manu Tukio fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Turku's protests and gave Manu Tukio a yellow card for diving instead. Herkko Virta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tuira Kings fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Turku had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
