Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tero Rantamäki got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Tero Rantamäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kari Viitakoski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tero Rantamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kari Viitakoski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tero Rantamäki, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Fc Siwa booed when Dalsbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aku Taipale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fc Siwa's Jari Mäkinen got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Fc Siwa booed when Dalsbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aku Taipale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fc Siwa's Ahto Vehanen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Ahto Vehanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes, Dalsbruk's Jouko Urholin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kari Viitakoski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dalsbruk reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seppo Karalahti in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kari Viitakoski saved Fc Siwa from getting behind. Fc Siwa's Kari Viitakoski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tero Rantamäki in the 31st minute of play. Tero Rantamäki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kari Viitakoski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Seppo Karalahti notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fc Siwa's Kari Viitakoski. Kari Viitakoski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Dalsbruk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jari Mäkinen made the kick off in the second half. Jussi Kiviranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heikki Leinonen in the 53rd minute of the match. Seppo Karalahti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Kari Viitakoski made a huge save. The supporters of Dalsbruk booed when Fc Siwa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahto Vehanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heikki Leinonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussi Kiviranta having to interfere. If Heikki Leinonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jussi Kiviranta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heikki Leinonen in the 64th minute of play. Seppo Karalahti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Viitakoski having to interfere. Tero Rantamäki might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kari Viitakoski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tero Rantamäki ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Dalsbruk's zone, Jari Mäkinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jussi Kiviranta came out of the goal and Jari Mäkinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd match minute, Dalsbruk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aku Taipale to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Pellervo Hannula sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dalsbruk's Jussi Kiviranta didn't even have to move. Kari Viitakoski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seppo Karalahti in the 89th minute.
