Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Untamo Jansson made the kick off which started today's match. Ronianemi's Pellervo Kaltiainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Untamo Jansson in the 3rd minute of play. Pellervo Kaltiainen came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sodankyulya FC's Untamo Jansson. But to his dismay, Untamo Jansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Urho Latvanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimo Koivuporras having to interfere. Untamo Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raimo Koivuporras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Järvenpää, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Sodankyulya FC's Untamo Jansson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pellervo Kaltiainen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pellervo Kaltiainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Untamo Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Sodankyulya FC's Untamo Jansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pellervo Kaltiainen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Pellervo Kaltiainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Untamo Jansson in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Sodankyulya FC booed when Ronianemi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pertti Ristolainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Sodankyulya FC's Saul Olkkonen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute of the match Aulis Hänninen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pellervo Kaltiainen skillfully saved the ball. If Untamo Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erno Rantanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pellervo Kaltiainen was a little too slow when Erno Rantanen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-5. In the 68th minute Untamo Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pellervo Kaltiainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urho Latvanen in the 70th minute of play forced Sodankyulya FC's goalkeeper Raimo Koivuporras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Ronianemi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urho Latvanen to maneuver through the defense. When Sodankyulya FC's Untamo Jansson in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ronianemi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th match minute, Ronianemi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pertti Ristolainen to maneuver through the defense. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pellervo Kaltiainen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Untamo Jansson in the 83rd minute of play forced Ronianemi's goalkeeper Pellervo Kaltiainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ronianemi's Pellervo Kaltiainen got control of the ball when Erno Rantanen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sodankyulya FC's Raimo Koivuporras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markku Jaakola in the 91st minute of play.
