Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anttoni Parkkali in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urmas Vappula prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tuukka Poikolainen struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Viljo Vihtilä didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rattosjärvi. Tuukka Poikolainen's late challenge caught a Lapinjärvi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tuukka Poikolainen helped the player get up and apologised. Tuukka Poikolainen hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rattosjärvi's zone, Alvi Niskala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urmas Vappula came out of the goal and Alvi Niskala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Lapinjärvi's goalkeeper Viljo Vihtilä had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarkko Teräs. Rattosjärvi's Jarkko Teräs got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anttoni Parkkali in the 20th minute of play forced Rattosjärvi's goalkeeper Urmas Vappula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Salomo Jokila sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lapinjärvi's Viljo Vihtilä didn't even have to move. Tuukka Poikolainen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viljo Vihtilä having to make a save. After 35 played minutes Lapinjärvi got a freekick which was hit by Anttoni Parkkali. The audience was convinced that Tuukka Poikolainen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viljo Vihtilä was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Alvi Niskala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Urmas Vappula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lapinjärvi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rattosjärvi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
