Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lasse Taipale made the kick off which started today's match. Timo Hagman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Portimo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Isto Wesslin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lasse Taipale in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Visa Laakkonen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julius Kaukonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arto Jantunen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timo Hagman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julius Kaukonen having to make a save. If Kaarle Vehanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Timo Hagman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Kaukonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaapro Kallijärvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute of the match Tuomo Koivuniemi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Visa Laakkonen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaapro Kallijärvi in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julius Kaukonen saved Portimo from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Varppeenseutu's goal looked a bit too open when Lasse Taipale came free, but Visa Laakkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Timo Hagman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portimo's Julius Kaukonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Visa Laakkonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Taipale in the 44th minute of play. Visa Laakkonen came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Portimo's Kaarle Vehanen. But to his dismay, Kaarle Vehanen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaapro Kallijärvi was the one to do the kick off. Julius Kaukonen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timo Hagman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. Kaarle Vehanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Visa Laakkonen having to interfere. Kaapro Kallijärvi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Julius Kaukonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Varppeenseutu's Julius Kaukonen threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kaapro Kallijärvi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 86 minutes into the match, Portimo's goalkeeper Julius Kaukonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo Hagman. After 86 played minutes Portimo got a freekick which was hit by Jere Itäluoma. Portimo's Julius Kaukonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaapro Kallijärvi in the 90th minute of play. Timo Hagman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Julius Kaukonen made a huge save. In the 94th match minute, Portimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuomo Koivuniemi to maneuver through the defense. When Varppeenseutu's Kaapro Kallijärvi, in the 95th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Varppeenseutu.
