The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paavo Hassinen during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nilkku FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Paavo Hassinen hit a great ball. If Aadolf Elo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veli-Matti Piispa during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Veli-Matti Piispa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bardridlan C.F's zone, Atro Juujärvi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaarlo Loikala came out of the goal and Atro Juujärvi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomi Rahikainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Nilkku FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomi Rahikainen came free, but Martti Tuulola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aadolf Elo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eerik Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aadolf Elo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaarlo Loikala saved FC Bardridlan C.F from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kimmo Peltola in the 56th minute of play forced FC Bardridlan C.F's goalkeeper Kaarlo Loikala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veli-Matti Piispa hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Nilkku FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomi Rahikainen came free, but Martti Tuulola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes, FC Bardridlan C.F's Aaron Somervuori shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martti Tuulola came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Bardridlan C.F reached it. 81 minutes into the game, Torsti Venäläinen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bardridlan C.F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nilkku FC the free kick. The supporters of Nilkku FC booed when FC Bardridlan C.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsti Venäläinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Bardridlan C.F would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
