Martti Tuulola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atro Heinikangas in the 8th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Veli-Matti Piispa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nilkku FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jääskä the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Nilkku FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veli-Matti Piispa to maneuver through the defense. Nilkku FC's Martti Tuulola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atro Heinikangas in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Jääskä's Atro Heinikangas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martti Tuulola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Riku Pihlanen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aadolf Elo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nilkku FC's goalkeeper Martti Tuulola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Riku Pihlanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aadolf Elo in the 34th minute of the match. Aadolf Elo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Riku Pihlanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Aadolf Elo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aadolf Elo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Riku Pihlanen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nilkku FC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aadolf Elo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nilkku FC's Aadolf Elo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Riku Pihlanen. Riku Pihlanen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 58thth minute of the game Aadolf Elo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jääskä's Riku Pihlanen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eerik Pitkämäki in the 59th minute of play forced Nilkku FC's goalkeeper Martti Tuulola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kimmo Peltola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riku Pihlanen having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Jääskä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaarlo Keskinarkaus to maneuver through the defense. If Kimmo Peltola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Atro Heinikangas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martti Tuulola. Nilkku FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atro Heinikangas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 80 minutes into the match, Nilkku FC's goal looked a bit too open when Atro Heinikangas came free, but Martti Tuulola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jääskä's goalkeeper Riku Pihlanen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Riku Pihlanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aadolf Elo in the 90th minute of play. The Jääskä support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
