Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Ilkka Nurminen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tero Lumijärvi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ilkka Nurminen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eräslahti IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilkka Nurminen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tero Lumijärvi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Eräslahti IFK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kosti Rintala hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksanteri Laine in the 8th minute of play forced Eräslahti IFK's goalkeeper Lari Kurri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Janne Jokila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lari Kurri having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Eräslahti IFK got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Tuomisalo. Aleksanteri Laine shot a long shot in the 17th minute and a light blocked Lari Kurri hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-0. In the 26th minute, Taito Väätäinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mafors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 29th minute of the match Kosti Rintala shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tero Lumijärvi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ilkka Nurminen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tero Lumijärvi having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Janne Jokila lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Lari Kurri. When Mafors's Janne Jokila in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eräslahti IFK's goalie prevented a goal. Janne Jokila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lari Kurri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Mafors got a freekick which was hit by Janne Jokila. In the 45th match minute, Eräslahti IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keimo Turunen to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orvo Penttilä stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Janne Jokila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lari Kurri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janne Jokila, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Lari Kurri came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mafors's Salomo Virolainen. But to his dismay, Salomo Virolainen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Janne Jokila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lari Kurri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janne Jokila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Eräslahti IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Salomo Virolainen came free, but Lari Kurri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tero Lumijärvi made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ilkka Nurminen sent off a good shot on target.
