Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silvo Viinikainen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th of the match, Silvo Viinikainen tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Saul Arkivuo got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 11th minute Silvo Viinikainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Arkivuo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simo Huikari hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvo Viinikainen in the 23rd minute of play forced Maavehmaa's goalkeeper Saul Arkivuo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Teijo Karalahti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maavehmaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Teijo Karalahti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valio Lotvonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Into Laitila in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valio Lotvonen saved Sporting Kristina from getting behind. After 39 played minutes Maavehmaa got a freekick which was hit by Eero Koivuniemi. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maavehmaa's goalkeeper Saul Arkivuo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Into Laitila fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maavehmaa's protests and gave Into Laitila a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Maavehmaa's Into Laitila got a free kick in the 48th minute. After having played for 49 minutes, Silvo Viinikainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Kristina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvo Viinikainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Silvo Viinikainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Maavehmaa's Tero Nyrhinen got a free kick in the 56th minute. Valio Lotvonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmer Koivisto in the 63rd minute of play. Saul Arkivuo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvo Viinikainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Arkivuo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Kristina's Joni Välivaara. But to his dismay, Joni Välivaara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 77 minutes into the match, Maavehmaa's goal looked a bit too open when Silvo Viinikainen came free, but Saul Arkivuo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valio Lotvonen made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Teijo Karalahti sent off a good shot on target. Joni Välivaara struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Saul Arkivuo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Kristina. Saul Arkivuo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvo Viinikainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Saul Arkivuo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joni Välivaara in the 90th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Maavehmaa's Teijo Karalahti made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valio Lotvonen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maavehmaa were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
