Urpo Riippa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Valio Lotvonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvo Viinikainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kosti Paappanen having to interfere. Joni Venäläinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valio Lotvonen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joni Välivaara in the 16th minute of play forced Fc Pallipoiskad's goalkeeper Kosti Paappanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jaakoppi Ristolainen came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sporting Kristina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaakoppi Ristolainen couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Sporting Kristina's Valio Lotvonen got control of the ball when Urpo Riippa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Sporting Kristina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arho Koski to maneuver through the defense. Urpo Riippa might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valio Lotvonen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urpo Riippa ran back to his position shaking his head. Valio Lotvonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joni Venäläinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fc Pallipoiskad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urpo Riippa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Fc Pallipoiskad fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Fc Pallipoiskad's Urpo Riippa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 87thth minute of the game Joni Venäläinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Kristina's Valio Lotvonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Joni Venäläinen clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting Kristina! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fc Pallipoiskad fully deserved thier win.
