Elmer Koivisto hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urpo Riippa in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Arkivuo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute, Aapeli Ilola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Into Laitila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Pallipoiskad's goalkeeper Kosti Paappanen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Teijo Karalahti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Urpo Riippa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urpo Riippa in the 24th minute of play forced Maavehmaa's goalkeeper Saul Arkivuo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Maavehmaa's goalkeeper Saul Arkivuo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urpo Riippa. In the 85th match minute, Fc Pallipoiskad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ville Lumme to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Eero Koivuniemi led 85 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Fc Pallipoiskad's Kosti Paappanen became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, Fc Pallipoiskad's Tero Järventaus got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute Into Laitila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kosti Paappanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Fc Pallipoiskad left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maavehmaa.
