Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raimo Kuoppala got the match started through his kick off. Viljami Multaharju kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 7thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Brandö's keeper Uolevi Myllykoski was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Timo Koivuniemi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Leif Ollikainen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aappo Rämö showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Uolevi Myllykoski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimo Kuoppala in the 13th minute of the match. Viljami Multaharju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Uolevi Myllykoski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Brandö getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Albert Selänne hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Brandö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarvo Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. If Viljami Multaharju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute Veeti Tirkkonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aappo Rämö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petri Hytönen in the 29th minute of play forced Kaarlela's goalkeeper Aappo Rämö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viljami Multaharju could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Uolevi Myllykoski made a huge save. Timo Koivuniemi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

58 minutes into the match, Brandö's goal looked a bit too open when Viljami Multaharju came free, but Uolevi Myllykoski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Brandö got a freekick which was hit by Veeti Tirkkonen. In the 66thth minute of the game Viljami Multaharju who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brandö's Uolevi Myllykoski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petri Hytönen might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aappo Rämö. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petri Hytönen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Petri Hytönen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Veeti Tirkkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kaarlela's zone, Veeti Tirkkonen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aappo Rämö came out of the goal and Veeti Tirkkonen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Veeti Tirkkonen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aappo Rämö was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 84th minute of the match, Petri Hytönen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aappo Rämö saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Uolevi Myllykoski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimo Kuoppala in the 89th minute of the match. Brandö's Uolevi Myllykoski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimo Kuoppala in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kaarlela's Reko Ylönen got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Brandö supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brandö would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
