After a rather tough play, Tavola's Topi Liimatainen got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Otto Salomaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Otto Salomaa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janne Tuuri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

In the 52nd match minute, Suela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turo Myllykoski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tavola booed when Suela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvo Numminen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seppo Loikala hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Otto Salomaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Väinö Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match, Otto Salomaa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Janne Tuuri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Otto Salomaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Janne Tuuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mika Heinikallio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alpi Kiviharju read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Alpi Kiviharju came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Tavola's Mika Heinikallio. But to his dismay, Mika Heinikallio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Suela were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tavola to leave the ground with a draw.
