Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Suttila's Jimi Tukio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jimi Tukio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Tuominen took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petteri Huhtiniemi. Petteri Huhtiniemi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jimi Tukio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Toivonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Suttila's zone, Patrik Tuominen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petteri Huhtiniemi came out of the goal and Patrik Tuominen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Patrik Tuominen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salmelanmäki's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Tuominen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petteri Huhtiniemi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Suttila's Jimi Tukio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Toivonen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuel Toivonen made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Reko Brinck sent off a good shot on target. Reko Brinck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Samuel Toivonen made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Terho Lyytikäinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isto Lydman took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petteri Huhtiniemi. Petteri Huhtiniemi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Patrik Tuominen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petteri Huhtiniemi having to interfere. The Suttila players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salmelanmäki were winning 1-2.

In the 57th minute Isto Lydman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petteri Huhtiniemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Petteri Huhtiniemi managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Salmelanmäki's Isto Lydman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patrik Tuominen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Petteri Huhtiniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suttila's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Isto Lydman 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. When Petteri Tikkanen fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salmelanmäki's protests and gave Petteri Tikkanen a yellow card for diving instead. Petteri Tikkanen kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Salmelanmäki's goal looked a bit too open when Tuure Kaven came free, but Samuel Toivonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reko Brinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Samuel Toivonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Toivonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reko Brinck in the 82nd minute of the match. Samuel Toivonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimi Tukio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Suttila's Terho Lyytikäinen got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes Petteri Tikkanen shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Suttila's Petteri Huhtiniemi to catch but Petteri Tikkanen was lucky. It became 1-4 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Tuominen got free with Petteri Huhtiniemi in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isto Lydman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrik Tuominen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Petteri Huhtiniemi made a huge save. When the match was over Salmelanmäki could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Suttila throughout the match.
