Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Uuno Lindfors started the match with the kick off. Sundet FC:s Keijo Reponen showed great skill when he stopped Leo Kananen:s penalty. In the 6th minute, Leo Kananen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keijo Reponen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 9 minutes, Kimi Piispa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maksniemi and the Sundet FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kimi Piispa kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Asko Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmeri Kylmänen in the 10th minute of the match. If Urho Hakanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Maksniemi defense, Urho Hakanen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asko Österlund. The Maksniemi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asko Österlund should have stopped the shot. Alfred Vihermäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asko Österlund having to interfere. After some careless play in the Maksniemi defense, Alfred Vihermäki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asko Österlund. The Maksniemi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asko Österlund should have stopped the shot. Esa Jämsänen charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esa Jämsänen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sundet FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Esa Jämsänen hit a great ball. Saku Haanpää in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keijo Reponen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Vihermäki to strike the kick off in the second half. Saku Haanpää fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keijo Reponen having to interfere. Alfred Vihermäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes of play, Maksniemi's Uuno Lindfors made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keijo Reponen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Sundet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saku Haanpää came free, but Keijo Reponen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes in the game, Urho Hakanen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Asko Österlund having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Urho Hakanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maksniemi's Asko Österlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Vihermäki in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Alfred Vihermäki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Allan Laitila fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maksniemi's protests and gave Allan Laitila a yellow card for diving instead. Elmeri Kylmänen placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After having played for 80 minutes, Uuno Lindfors managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maksniemi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uuno Lindfors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keijo Reponen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saku Haanpää, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Urho Hakanen might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Asko Österlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urho Hakanen ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the game, Rauno Markkanen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sundet FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maksniemi the free kick. A collision led to Sundet FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Rauno Markkanen hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Saku Haanpää left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maksniemi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Asko Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Vihermäki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uuno Lindfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Maksniemi had won after a very even match.
