Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Parkkila's Taavetti Brinck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Osmo Alatalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arttu Rantamäki in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lasse Rinne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th match minute, Parkkila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pasi Vatanen to maneuver through the defense. When Heikki Mikkola came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Parkkila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heikki Mikkola couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Parkkila's Taavetti Brinck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jukka Haanpää. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Taavetti Brinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Lari Pasoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tatu Jokiranta hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Taavetti Brinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Pyhänkoski's Jukka Haanpää got control of the ball when Heikki Mikkola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lasse Rinne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmo Alatalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Arttu Rantamäki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lasse Rinne was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Arttu Rantamäki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lasse Rinne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmo Alatalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Pyhänkoski getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sulho Levokari hit a great ball. Jukka Haanpää didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heikki Mikkola went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Taavetti Brinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jukka Haanpää having to interfere. If Osmo Alatalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pyhänkoski's Osmo Alatalo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jukka Haanpää took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heikki Mikkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taavetti Brinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jukka Haanpää tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Pyhänkoski got a freekick which was hit by Pellervo Nikko. After a defensive mix-up in Parkkila's zone, Osmo Alatalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lasse Rinne came out of the goal and Osmo Alatalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Parkkila's Lasse Rinne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Parkkila from getting a goal against them. Taavetti Brinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jukka Haanpää having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Parkkila fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pyhänkoski had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
