Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Moamen Abu Al Dahab started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute, Moamen Abu Al Dahab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saleh Fahed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monzer Mohanad, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, Monzer Mohanad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saleh Fahed was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Mintay's Farouk Ali got control of the ball when Talaat Ezzat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moamen Abu Al Dahab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Saleh Fahed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mintay defense, Talaat Ezzat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Farouk Ali. The Mintay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Farouk Ali should have stopped the shot. When Moamen Abu Al Dahab came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mintay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moamen Abu Al Dahab couldn't finish the play. Moamen Abu Al Dahab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Farouk Ali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Talaat Ezzat in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Mintay's goalkeeper Farouk Ali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Talaat Ezzat. If Fareed Khalil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fareed Khalil to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Talaat Ezzat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Farouk Ali was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With his leg Saleh Fahed managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Mintay's Monzer Mohanad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Moamen Abu Al Dahab struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Saleh Fahed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mintay. The supporters of Mintay booed when Zunnarah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Othman Aemara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Farouk Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fareed Khalil, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Monzer Mohanad scored 3-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saleh Fahed, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Talaat Ezzat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farouk Ali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Fareed Khalil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Farouk Ali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saleh Fahed didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. In the 91st minute Fareed Khalil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farouk Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Qasem Basel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shams Ramadan, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Moamen Abu Al Dahab kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saleh Fahed. That made the score 3-4 in the 95 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mintay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
