Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Masir's Sobhy Magdy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hassan Safwat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sobhy Magdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waheed Ramzy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abbas El-Ghandour who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Ramadan Basel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Abbas El-Ghandour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samul's supporters rose to their feet, but Abbas El-Ghandour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramadan Basel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fareed Fikry kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Aino Monzer in the 39th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Mubarak Darweesh's left hand side. If Sobhy Magdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Sobhy Magdy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Masir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waheed Ramzy was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Samul's Karam Mustafa got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mubarak Darweesh was a little too slow when Gomaa Besheer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waheed Ramzy in the 61st minute of play forced Masir's goalkeeper Ramadan Basel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Samul's zone, Sobhy Magdy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mubarak Darweesh came out of the goal and Sobhy Magdy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sobhy Magdy in the 65th minute of play forced Samul's goalkeeper Mubarak Darweesh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samul's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sobhy Magdy 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. 71 minutes into the match, Masir's goal looked a bit too open when Waheed Ramzy came free, but Ramadan Basel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Masir booed when Samul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fareed Fikry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waheed Ramzy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karam Mustafa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Ramadan Basel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waheed Ramzy, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Masir eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
