Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mahgoub Safwat started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Masir's Farouk Emam got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Riad Burhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taher Fikry. Unaybis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Riad Burhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 13 minutes, Hassan Safwat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hassan Safwat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bahaa El-Husany came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Unaybis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahaa El-Husany couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Mahgoub Safwat took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ramadan Basel to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, Masir's goal looked a bit too open when Mahgoub Safwat came free, but Ramadan Basel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Mahgoub Safwat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramadan Basel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gomaa Besheer during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gomaa Besheer kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Masir's Ramadan Basel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahgoub Safwat in the 38th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sobhy Magdy was the one to do the kick off. Ramadan Basel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahaa El-Husany, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bahaa El-Husany sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahgoub Safwat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Yehia Belal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Unaybis's Bahaa El-Husany in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Masir's goalie prevented a goal. Unaybis's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahgoub Safwat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramadan Basel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramadan Basel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahgoub Safwat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahgoub Safwat in the 82nd minute of play forced Masir's goalkeeper Ramadan Basel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahaa El-Husany received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ramadan Basel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bahaa El-Husany managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riad Burhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramadan Basel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahaa El-Husany, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahgoub Safwat in the 93rd minute of play forced Masir's goalkeeper Ramadan Basel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taher Fikry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sobhy Magdy in the 94th minute of play. Mahgoub Safwat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
