Sobhy Basyouny scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gameel Rateb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gameel Rateb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sobhy Basyouny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Qahbunah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qasem Mohab to maneuver through the defense. Adel Gaser hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Qahbunah getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Marwan Mohammed hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Kareem Mohab took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mortada Aebeed to make any attempt to save it. Abbas Safwats short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Mortada Aebeed to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gameel Rateb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kareem Mohab to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Shinraq was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darweesh Abdel Wahab to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Abbas Safwat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mortada Aebeed was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the match, Qahbunah's goal looked a bit too open when Rateb Ismail came free, but Gameel Rateb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kareem Mohab came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Qahbunah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kareem Mohab couldn't finish the play. Sobhy Basyouny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gameel Rateb made a huge save. Mortada Aebeed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kareem Mohab in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Shinraq was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fares Mowafak to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Shinraq's Kamal Mazhar got a free kick in the 75th minute. Shehab Mahmoud took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mortada Aebeed. Shinraq's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rateb Ismail received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gameel Rateb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kareem Mohab in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mortada Aebeed saved Shinraq from getting behind. When Abbas Safwat came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Qahbunah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abbas Safwat couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Qahbunah's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sobhy Basyouny fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mortada Aebeed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abbas Safwat in the 93rd minute of the match. If Rateb Ismail had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sobhy Basyouny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Gameel Rateb made a huge save. Sobhy Basyouny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gameel Rateb having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
