Abdel Masoud Tamer scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waheed Nizar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Taimour Radwan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Waheed Nizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waheed Nizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdel Masoud Tamer in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aghurmi's Essam Samer got a free kick in the 13th minute. Fanus's Ziyad Desouqy couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aghurmi. After 15 minutes, Badr Anwar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aghurmi and the Fanus players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fanus booed when Aghurmi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Badr Anwar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yehia Kamouna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Abdel Masoud Tamer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aghurmi's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdel Masoud Tamer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waheed Nizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Taimour Radwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waheed Nizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Aghurmi's Abdel Masoud Tamer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waheed Nizar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Waheed Nizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taimour Radwan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aghurmi's goalkeeper Shehab Yassine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yehia Kamouna to strike the kick off in the second half. Badr Anwar kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The referee gave Fanus a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ziyad Desouqy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aghurmi's Shehab Yassine. 2-1. Fanus's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
