Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Anwar Amgad made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Janzur's Fathy Hamdy got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Ali Burhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Janzur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Burhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malatiyah's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anwar Amgad 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 29th minute, Shawky Belal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Malatiyah's goal looked a bit too open when Anwar Amgad came free, but Medhat Shawky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Janzur booed when Malatiyah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdel Hameed Riad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Anwar Amgad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janzur's supporters rose to their feet, but Anwar Amgad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Medhat Shawky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Burhan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bakr Saad in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atef Kareem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmed Aebeed stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Shawky Belal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Atef Kareem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Janzur booed when Malatiyah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdel Hameed Riad didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anwar Amgad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malatiyah's Medhat Shawky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Burhan in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute, Seif Nizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ahmed Aebeed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ali Burhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Medhat Shawky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anwar Amgad in the 81st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Malatiyah's Atef Kareem threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmed Aebeed, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 86 minutes into the game, Fadel Hafez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Janzur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malatiyah the free kick. In the 86th minute, Fadel Hafez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shawky Belal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atef Kareem having to make a save. Atef Kareem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Aebeed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Burhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Medhat Shawky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taimour Monzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
