Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Riad Lateef got the match started through his kick off. When Abbas Fouad came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ghazala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abbas Fouad couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Abbas Fouad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abbas Fouad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Nader Besheer made a huge save. After 13 minutes of play, Baqsa's Saleh Islam made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nedal Ismail was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mohammed Hashem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nedal Ismail tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Ghazala's goal looked a bit too open when Mazen Mahmoud came free, but Nedal Ismail reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nedal Ismail came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Baqsa's Saleh Islam. But to his dismay, Saleh Islam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Ghazala getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gameel Saad hit a great ball. Saleh Islam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nedal Ismail tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Basyouny El-hadary was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghazala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baqsa the free kick. A collision led to Ghazala getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Basyouny El-hadary hit a great ball. Riad Lateef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nader Besheer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nedal Ismail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saleh Islam, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Fouad Karam struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Nader Besheer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghazala. 42 minutes into the match, Hisham Zaky had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nader Besheer. Baqsa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hisham Zaky was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saleh Islam to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Riad Lateef managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghazala's supporters rose to their feet, but Riad Lateef was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nader Besheer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Basel Abbas fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baqsa's protests and gave Basel Abbas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ghazala booed when Baqsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basel Abbas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ghazala's Nedal Ismail got control of the ball when Mazen Mahmoud tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Baqsa's Saleh Islam in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ghazala's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Baqsa defense, Abbas Fouad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nader Besheer. The Baqsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nader Besheer should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ghazala's Hisham Zaky got a free kick in the 71st minute. Nedal Ismail made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Saleh Islam sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saleh Islam in the 74th minute of play forced Ghazala's goalkeeper Nedal Ismail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, one of Ghazala:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ghazala. Mazen Mahmoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nedal Ismail having to interfere. Nedal Ismail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saleh Islam, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Ghazala's Abbas Fouad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nader Besheer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Baqsa's Mazen Mahmoud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nedal Ismail made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saleh Islam in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nedal Ismail prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute, Mazen Mahmoud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nedal Ismail was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The Ghazala supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Baqsa's performance. The match ended with a win for Baqsa.
