Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hossam Hassan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Shawky Ehab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fahed Hanafy in the 3rd minute of the match. Maher El-Sakka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Shawky Ehab made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amgad Mahgoub during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Siliyin getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Amgad Mahgoub hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Siliyin got a freekick which was hit by Nassef Nizar. Shawky Ehab acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Moheb Hamada. 24 minutes into the game, Hakeem Nagy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Siliyin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Syria the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Siliyin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Shawky Ehab, was totally fooled by Syria's Moheb Hamada, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 28 minutes into the match, Syria's goal looked a bit too open when Aino Mohammed came free, but Abdel Hameed Mortada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Syria's goalkeeper Abdel Hameed Mortada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maher El-Sakka got free with Shawky Ehab in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aino Mohammed in the 35th minute of play forced Syria's goalkeeper Abdel Hameed Mortada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hossam Hassan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdel Hameed Mortada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aino Mohammed in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Siliyin booed when Syria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamouna Baher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maher El-Sakka scored 2-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shawky Ehab, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute Hossam Hassan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Hameed Mortada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Hakeem Nagy hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Maher El-Sakka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Shawky Ehab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fahed Hanafy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maher El-Sakka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shawky Ehab having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Siliyin's zone, Maher El-Sakka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shawky Ehab came out of the goal and Maher El-Sakka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Hossam Hassan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siliyin's supporters rose to their feet, but Hossam Hassan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdel Hameed Mortada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the game, Gamal Moamen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Syria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Siliyin the free kick. Gamal Moamen kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Fahed Hanafy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawky Ehab having to interfere. If Kamouna Baher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gamal Moamen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. Gamal Moamen hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Kamouna Baher hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Siliyin's Hossam Hassan got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Hossam Hassan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Aino Mohammed managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siliyin's supporters rose to their feet, but Aino Mohammed was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdel Hameed Mortada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Syria fans cheered their team off the field, for while Siliyin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
