Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mazen Mazen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Taimour Ibrahim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 minutes, Mazen Abdou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oxyrynchus and the Zayyan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Mazen Abdou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mido Fahmy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabry Salah having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Oxyrynchus's goal looked a bit too open when Mido Fahmy came free, but Sabry Salah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mido Fahmy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabry Salah was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 25 minutes in the game, Mazen Mazen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abbas Walid having to interfere. Oxyrynchus's Sabry Salah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mido Fahmy in the 32nd minute of play. Mido Fahmy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sabry Salah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahaa Taimour charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bahaa Taimour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Bahaa Taimour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute, Taimour Ibrahim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute Raouf Abdel Wahab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbas Walid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Oxyrynchus's Bahaa Taimour fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Abbas Walid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazen Abdou, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sabry Salah was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nabil Bahaa. Aemara Samer's late challenge caught a Oxyrynchus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aemara Samer helped the player get up and apologised. Aemara Samer kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Zayyan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moheb Samer to maneuver through the defense. Raouf Abdel Wahab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbas Walid having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Taimour Ibrahim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabry Salah. Oxyrynchus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taimour Ibrahim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Oxyrynchus's zone, Taimour Ibrahim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabry Salah came out of the goal and Taimour Ibrahim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taimour Ibrahim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Sabry Salah made a huge save. Raouf Abdel Wahab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbas Walid having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
