Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Birqash's Mounir Ziyad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Birqash's Hussien Adel got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mounir Ziyad in the 5th minute of play forced Mahamid's goalkeeper Adham Abdel Wahab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabry El-Ghandour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adham Abdel Wahab having to interfere. Adham Abdel Wahab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mounir Ziyad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Mahamid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atef Basel to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Mourad Sameeh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mahamid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Birqash's Reda Ali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nagy Islam in the 20th minute of play. Sabry El-Ghandours short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Adham Abdel Wahab to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sabry El-Ghandour in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adham Abdel Wahab, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36th minute Nagy Islam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reda Ali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mourad Sameeh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mounir Ziyad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Adham Abdel Wahab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nagy Islam to strike the kick off in the second half. Mounir Ziyad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sabry El-Ghandour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mounir Ziyad in the 63rd minute of play forced Mahamid's goalkeeper Adham Abdel Wahab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reda Ali was a little too slow when Nagy Islam got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Nagy Islam elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Birqash's goal looked a bit too open when Nagy Islam came free, but Reda Ali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nagy Islam in the 78th minute of play forced Birqash's goalkeeper Reda Ali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nagy Islam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adham Abdel Wahab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mounir Ziyad in the 82nd minute of the match. Mourad Sameeh took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reda Ali. Reda Ali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Sabry El-Ghandour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adham Abdel Wahab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tawfeek Abu Bakr got free with Reda Ali in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Mahamid supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mahamid would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
