The supporters of Birqash booed when Oxyrynkhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hashem Anwar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Abaza Hassan came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Oxyrynkhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abaza Hassan couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Zagloul Moheb sped through Birqash's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reda Ali. Moamen Aino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Monzer Fayez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abaza Hassan scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reda Ali, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sabry El-Ghandour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Monzer Fayez made a huge save. Zagloul Moheb might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reda Ali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
