Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hassan Naguib made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Sunbat getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Waheed Mahgoub hit a great ball. Sunbat's Kordy Farouk got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kordy Farouk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Yousif Hossam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Medhat Ismail got free with Desouqy Abu Bakr in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes, Gamal Kamel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bisra and the Sunbat players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Bisra got a freekick which was hit by Gamal Kamel. In the 21st minute of the match Salem Moheb shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yousif Hossam showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Desouqy Abu Bakr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hassan Naguib, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes, Yousif Nassef made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bisra's Yousif Hossam tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Medhat Ismail was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Kordy Farouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sunbat's supporters rose to their feet, but Kordy Farouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yousif Hossam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yousif Hossam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yousif Nassef in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Hassan Naguib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bisra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hassan Naguib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Medhat Ismail received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Desouqy Abu Bakr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yousif Nassef was the one to do the kick off. Sunbat's Desouqy Abu Bakr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medhat Ismail in the 52nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Sunbat's goal looked a bit too open when Hassan Naguib came free, but Desouqy Abu Bakr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Hassan Naguib sped through Sunbat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Desouqy Abu Bakr. Bisra's Hassan Naguib got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yousif Nassef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kordy Farouk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yousif Hossam having to interfere. Gamal Kamel hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Gamal Kamel kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Yousif Hossam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yousif Nassef in the 81st minute of play. If Medhat Ismail had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Bisra booed when Sunbat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waheed Mahgoub didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
