Bisra's Yousif Hossam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Bisra from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Deirut's zone, Medhat Ismail stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yehia Yehia came out of the goal and Medhat Ismail tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deirut's Yehia Yehia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassan Naguib in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Medhat Ismail had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yehia Yehia. Deirut's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Medhat Ismail was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hassan Naguib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Yehia Yehia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Bisra's Hassan Naguib sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yehia Yehia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Deirut got a freekick which was hit by Samy Hamada. Deirut's Yehia Yehia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassan Naguib in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Deirut's Kordy Salem fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Yousif Hossam was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Kordy Amr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deirut's Kordy Salem got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kordy Amr hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Yassine Radwan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Deirut players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bisra were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salah Burhan to make the kick off. Fikry Raouf's late challenge caught a Bisra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fikry Raouf helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Fikry Raouf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Medhat Ismail received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Yehia Yehia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Salah Burhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hassan Naguib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fikry Raouf was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Deirut's Fikry Raouf got a free kick in the 67th minute. Hassan Naguib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Yehia Yehia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deirut booed when Bisra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahdy Walid didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Deirut's Yassine Radwan tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bisra getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kordy Amr hit a great ball. Kordy Salem took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yousif Hossam. Yousif Hossam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Medhat Ismail charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Medhat Ismail the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Medhat Ismail hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deirut's Yehia Yehia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Deirut from getting a goal against them. After having played for 93 minutes, Hassan Naguib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bisra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hassan Naguib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bisra were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Deirut to leave the ground with a draw.
