Gaafar El-Saeed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akram Mohammed, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Mortada Wael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almaza. Refaat Aino hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Desouqy Fikry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Almaza's goal looked a bit too open when Desouqy Fikry came free, but Gaafar El-Saeed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahdy Adham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Akram Mohammed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Othman Belal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almaza's goalkeeper Gaafar El-Saeed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Qasem Abaza kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ibyar's Mortada Wael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahdy Adham in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Ibyar getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Basel Mounir hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ibyar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Almaza.
