Akram Mohammed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamouna Nasir having to interfere. Desouqy Fikry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kamouna Nasir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 18 in the game by Desouqy Fikry from a close distance when the talented Kamouna Nasir managed to make a qualified save. Sanabara's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alaa Fouad in the 21st minute of play forced Ibyar's goalkeeper Mortada Wael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Desouqy Fikry came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ibyar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desouqy Fikry couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Akram Mohammed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ibyar's Mortada Wael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alaa Fouad in the 31st minute of play. Baher Hossam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mortada Wael having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Baher Hossam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Baher Hossam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alaa Fouad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mortada Wael having to interfere. Mortada Wael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baher Hossam's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The supporters of Ibyar booed when Sanabara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samer Shams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kamouna Nasir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akram Mohammed in the 52nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Sanabara's goal looked a bit too open when Desouqy Fikry came free, but Kamouna Nasir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Akram Mohammed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desouqy Fikry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sanabara's Kamouna Nasir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desouqy Fikry in the 77th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Ibyar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sanabara:s goal. Khaled Abdel Masoud shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ibyar's Mortada Wael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alaa Fouad in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Alaa Fouad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mortada Wael. The goal made the score 0-1. Mortada Wael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alaa Fouad, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Sanabara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
