Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reda Yehia got the match started through his kick off. Nizar Hassan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osama Mahmoud, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Bahy Burhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gimris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahy Burhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Shamandil's Osama Mahmoud in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gimris's goalie prevented a goal. Osama Mahmoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nizar Hassan having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Essam Taha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gimris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shamandil the free kick. After 25 played minutes, Shamandil's Raouf Nassef shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nizar Hassan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shamandil reached it. Osama Mahmoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nizar Hassan having to interfere. Qasem Medhat scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nizar Hassan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Osama Mahmoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nizar Hassan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osama Mahmoud struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Nizar Hassan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shamandil. Reda Yehia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qasem Nassef read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reda Yehia in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qasem Nassef prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Qasem Nassef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reda Yehia in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, Shamandil's Qasem Medhat made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nizar Hassan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 49th minute of the match Gimris got a corner. Shamandil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Akram Hashem ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Besheer Taha charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Besheer Taha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 60 minutes, Osama Mahmoud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shamandil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osama Mahmoud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gimris's Essam Taha got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Essam Taha off the ground. In the 62nd minute, Essam Taha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gimris's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Osama Mahmoud scored to the left of an out of position Nizar Hassan, making the score, 0-3. Qasem Nassef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahy Burhan in the 73rd minute of the match. Emam Othman's late challenge caught a Gimris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emam Othman helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Shamandil got a freekick which was hit by Emam Othman. Bahy Burhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qasem Nassef having to interfere. If Osama Mahmoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Gimris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Besheer Taha to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th match minute, Shamandil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emam Othman to maneuver through the defense. Shamandil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
