Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mahmoud Yousif started the match with the kick off. Dengawai's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mahmoud Yousif 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Qalama's Emam Rateb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monzer Ziyad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Qalama's goal looked a bit too open when Yassine Yasser came free, but Refaat Fares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Qalama getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kordy Reda hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, Qalama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deyaa Nassef to maneuver through the defense. Yassine Yasser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Refaat Fares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yassine Yasser's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Qalama's Deyaa Nassef got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Yassine Yasser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dengawai booed when Qalama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahmoud Yousif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monzer Ziyad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmoud Yousif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monzer Ziyad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahmoud Yousif in the 38th minute of play. When Kordy Reda fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qalama's protests and gave Kordy Reda a yellow card for diving instead. Kordy Reda kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Refaat Fares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Refaat in the 46th minute of play.
The wind increased when Ali Refaat made the kick off in the second half. Ali Refaat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Refaat Fares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Mahmoud Yousif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Qalama's Refaat Fares got control of the ball when Ali Refaat tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes Qalama got a freekick which was hit by Kordy Reda. After having played for 83 minutes, Ali Refaat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dengawai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Refaat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Refaat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Refaat Fares made a huge save. Emam Rateb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Ali Refaat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Ali Refaat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Refaat Fares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Qalama fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dengawai had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
