Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fareed Hisham made the kick off and thus started the match. Nekhl's Mortada Moataz got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deyab Burhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Refaat Badr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nekhl's Refaat Badr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fareed Hisham in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Nekhl's Mortada Moataz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Fareed Hisham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refaat Badr having to interfere. Deyab Burhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Refaat Badr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahy Nassef kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Deyab Burhan scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Refaat Badr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Nekhl getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gaser Abbas hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the game, Desouqy Ameen landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Desouqy Moataz's late challenge caught a Zayd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desouqy Moataz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nekhl getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Desouqy Moataz hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Zayd's Gameel Emam broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Nekhl players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zayd were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mortada Moataz to make the kick off. Deyab Burhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Refaat Badr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Mortada Moataz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seif Shehta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gamal Abu Trika made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seif Shehta in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Seif Shehta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gamal Abu Trika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deyab Burhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Refaat Badr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. If Mortada Moataz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute of the game, Hossam Ezzat landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 96 minutes into the game, Darweesh Mido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nekhl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zayd the free kick. The supporters of Zayd booed when Nekhl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darweesh Mido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
