With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamdy Abu Al Dahab in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fayez Saad saved Sibirbai from getting behind. Taher Basem charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taher Basem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Almay getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Taher Basem hit a great ball. Bahaa Magdy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahgoub Abu Trika took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmed Saad. Almay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hamdy Abu Al Dahab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fayez Saad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamdy Abu Al Dahab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Sibirbai's Fayez Saad got control of the ball when Ayman Qasem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fayez Saad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdy Abu Al Dahab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayman Qasem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fayez Saad having to interfere. If Ashraf Badr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Saad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashraf Badr in the 42nd minute of play. If Ashraf Badr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayman Qasem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fayez Saad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamdy Abu Al Dahab was the one to do the kick off. Sibirbai's Fayez Saad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamdy Abu Al Dahab in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Hamdy Abu Al Dahab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fayez Saad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayman Qasem struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Fayez Saad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almay. After 73 played minutes Sibirbai got a freekick which was hit by Mahgoub Abu Trika. 77 minutes into the game, Almay's Ayman Qasem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fayez Saad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Almay booed when Sibirbai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adham Fahed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayman Qasem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fayez Saad having to interfere. Sibirbai's Bahaa Magdy got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bakr Abdel Wahab made a great header on Almay's corner, it was just that Sibirbai's Fayez Saad managed to reach the ball for a save. Ahmed Saad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nagy Hisham, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Almay fully deserved thier win.
