Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ramez Qasem got the match started through his kick off. Marwan Yassine kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ramez Qasem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abbas Radwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waheed Thabit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramez Qasem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Abbas Radwan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gibeil's Waheed Thabit got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Waheed Thabit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waheed Thabit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abbas Radwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramez Qasem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gibeil's goalkeeper Raouf Hanafy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abbas Radwan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waheed Thabit in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jizzayah's zone, Waheed Thabit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abbas Radwan came out of the goal and Waheed Thabit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jizzayah's Ramy Anwar got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Burhan Mohanad took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Raouf Hanafy to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Jizzayah getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Burhan Mohanad hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Raouf Hanafy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadel Ezz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Waheed Thabit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbas Radwan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramez Qasem in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abbas Radwan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Ramy Anwar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raouf Hanafy. Gibeil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramy Anwar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 82nd minute, Seif Sameeh fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Waheed Thabit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abbas Radwan was a little too slow when Ramez Qasem got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-1. The supporters of Jizzayah booed when Gibeil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seif Sameeh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gibeil's Raouf Hanafy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadel Ezz in the 90th minute of play. Gibeil's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
