A wasted opportunity for Asrijah. After 7 minutes, Kamal Hamdy made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jizzayah's Abbas Radwan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kamal Hamdy in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abbas Radwan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abbas Radwan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamal Hamdy, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Essam Saad fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asrijah's protests and gave Essam Saad a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Asrijah's Essam Saad got a free kick in the 25th minute. Magdy Mohammed charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magdy Mohammed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Asrijah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magdy Mohammed to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Asrijah's Sameeh Abu Trika got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Ramy Anwar came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Jizzayah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramy Anwar couldn't finish the play. Ramy Anwar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Asrijah were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fadel Ezz was the one to do the kick off. Badr Bahy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadel Ezz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Hakeem Yousry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbas Radwan having to interfere. Ramy Anwar ran back to his position shaking his head. Asrijah's Badr Bahy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramy Anwar in the 84th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Ramy Anwar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Badr Bahy. Asrijah's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramy Anwar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramy Anwar in the 95th minute of play forced Asrijah's goalkeeper Badr Bahy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fadel Ezz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
