Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yassine Safwat started the match with the kick off. Galal Moheb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramzy Shady's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohanad Hany read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Adham Fahmy charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adham Fahmy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maghnin booed when Shumyatis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adham Fahmy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saad Ibrahim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gamal Zagloul went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mohanad Hany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramzy Shady, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Shumyatis getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sallam Batran hit a great ball. Mohanad Hany stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yassine Safwat's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Mohanad Hany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramzy Shady, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamal Kordy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galal Moheb in the 39th minute of play forced Maghnin's goalkeeper Saad Ibrahim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yassine Safwat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Shumyatis's goal looked a bit too open when Yassine Safwat came free, but Mohanad Hany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Galal Moheb was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Maghnin's Ramzy Shady sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohanad Hany narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saad Ibrahim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sallam Batran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saad Ibrahim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gamal Zagloul, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Hossam Shehab kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Shumyatis's Gamal Zagloul got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yassine Safwat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shumyatis's Mohanad Hany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yassine Safwat in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Shumyatis's Maher Omar got a free kick in the 74th minute. Maged Yousif took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saad Ibrahim. Maghnin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Rasheed Hassan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maghnin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shumyatis the free kick. 83 minutes into the game, one of Maghnin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Saad Ibrahim went to the wrong direction when Maged Yousif was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 92 played minutes Yassine Safwat rounded Shumyatis's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Mohanad Hany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yassine Safwat, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
