Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yassine Safwat took the kick off in the first half of the match. Yassine Safwat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Tamer having to interfere. Ramzy Shady recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilwan's Mahmoud Tamer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yassine Safwat in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hilwan's zone, Ramzy Shady stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahmoud Tamer came out of the goal and Ramzy Shady tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Yassine Safwat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Yassine Safwat came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Maghnin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yassine Safwat couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Faisal El-Yamani notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Maghnin's Saad Ibrahim. Saad Ibrahim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Maghnin's Hossam Shehab got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Maghnin getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Seif Ziyad hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Sallam Hazem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saad Ibrahim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ramzy Shady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 41 played minutes Hilwan got a freekick which was hit by Sallam Hazem. 43 minutes into the match, Ramzy Shady notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hilwan's Mahmoud Tamer. Mahmoud Tamer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Rabie Hosny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yassine Safwat took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mahmoud Tamer. Mahmoud Tamer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faisal El-Yamani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yassine Safwat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Tamer having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Ramzy Shady ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mahmoud Tamer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ramzy Shady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Tamer having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Maghnin's goalkeeper Saad Ibrahim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rabie Hosny. Taha Bakr kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Maghnin's Essam Shawky sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mahmoud Tamer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faisal El-Yamani struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Saad Ibrahim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hilwan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramzy Shady in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahmoud Tamer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saad Ibrahim made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Rabie Hosny sent off a good shot on target. Yassine Safwat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Maghnin booed when Hilwan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shams Shady didn't get a good kick on the ball.
