Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mahgoub Rateb kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Mahgoub Rateb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fouad Mahmoud in the 5th minute of play forced Biteita's goalkeeper Fahed Yehia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Dirshay's Mohammed Desouqy got control of the ball when Haitham Deyaa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fouad Mahmoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fahed Yehia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohammed Desouqy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yousif Aebeed, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Fikry Ezz fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biteita's protests and gave Fikry Ezz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Fikry Ezz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Mahgoub Rateb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dirshay's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahgoub Rateb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fahed Yehia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mahgoub Rateb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fahed Yehia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Biteita getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Naguib Hisham hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Ashraf Aaser got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fahed Yehia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fahed Yehia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fouad Mahmoud in the 40th minute of the match. Haitham Deyaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mohammed Desouqy made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Haitham Deyaa sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 47 minutes, Yousif Aebeed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biteita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yousif Aebeed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yousif Aebeed was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abbas El-Sayed during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Abbas El-Sayed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Biteita were awarded a corner. Islam Ghali went to the cornerflag to take it. Islam Ghali made a great header on Biteita's corner, it was just that Dirshay's Mohammed Desouqy managed to reach the ball for a save. Fahed Yehia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mahgoub Rateb's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The supporters of Dirshay booed when Biteita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fikry Ezz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yousif Aebeed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Haitham Deyaa came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Biteita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haitham Deyaa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haitham Deyaa in the 73rd minute of play forced Dirshay's goalkeeper Mohammed Desouqy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Abbas El-Sayed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Islam Ghali sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dirshay's Mohammed Desouqy didn't even have to move. Fouad Mahmoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahed Yehia having to interfere. If Yousif Aebeed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nayef Ramadan charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nayef Ramadan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 1-2 became the score in the 94th minute when Mahgoub Rateb elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Dirshay supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dirshay would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
