Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hany Gomaa kicked off to start the match. Shehab Nagy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hany Gomaa in the 4th minute of the match. Anwar El-hadary charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anwar El-hadary the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Manawahlah booed when Qalabshu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anwar El-hadary didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghanem Ezz hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Abdel Haleem El-Yamani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kordy Abu Mosallam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kordy Abu Mosallam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Qalabshu getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Basel Mustafa hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Fareed Fathy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shehab Nagy. Qalabshu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fareed Fathy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Qalabshu's Shehab Nagy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Qalabshu from getting a goal against them. Hany Gomaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shehab Nagy having to interfere. Fareed Fathy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shehab Nagy having to interfere. After some careless play in the Manawahlah defense, Kamal Maged kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdel Haleem El-Yamani. The Manawahlah fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdel Haleem El-Yamani should have stopped the shot. Fareed Fathy struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Shehab Nagy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manawahlah. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kamal Maged stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fareed Fathy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manawahlah's goalkeeper Abdel Haleem El-Yamani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abdel Haleem El-Yamani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamal Maged, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Qalabshu's Anwar El-hadary got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Anwar El-hadary off the ground. After a rather tough play, Qalabshu's Anwar El-hadary got a free kick in the 68th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Qalabshu's goal looked a bit too open when Hany Gomaa came free, but Shehab Nagy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fareed Fathy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shehab Nagy having to interfere. Fareed Fathy struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Shehab Nagy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manawahlah. If Fareed Fathy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fareed Fathy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 93 played minutes Qalabshu got a freekick which was hit by Kamal Maged. After 96 minutes Qalabshu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fareed Zaky who took care of the corner kick. Manawahlah were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Qalabshu for a fine match.
