Shehta Hakeem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramez Naguib having to make a save. After having played for 32 minutes, Shehta Hakeem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramez Naguib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bakr Medhat, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Talaat Gaser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Talaat Gaser to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Dumqat's Hakeem Ghali got a free kick in the 71st minute. Dumqat's Ramez Naguib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shehta Hakeem in the 72nd minute of play. Bakr Medhat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dumqat's Talaat Gaser in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barqin's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute Samir Basyouny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zaky Walid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
