An unexpectedly hard shot by Aemara Barakat in the 3rd minute of play forced Fowa's goalkeeper Nader Abu Al Dahab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Hisham Desouqy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fowa's Nader Abu Al Dahab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Safwat Ezz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rateb Ehab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. If Naguib Nabil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hisham Desouqy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hisham Desouqy in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nader Abu Al Dahab saved Fowa from getting behind. Rasheed Nedal charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasheed Nedal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fowa getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rasheed Nedal hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Atef Hanafy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rateb Ehab having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Fowa got a freekick which was hit by Safwat Ezz. If Hisham Desouqy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nader Abu Al Dahab made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Naguib Nabil sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Hisham Desouqy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nader Abu Al Dahab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rateb Ehab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Safwat Ezz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fowa's Atef Hanafy got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 98 minutes of play, Dakka's Naguib Nabil made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nader Abu Al Dahab was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Dakka players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
