Ismailieh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radwan Metwaly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mowafak Gaser hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Farouk Mortada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maged Zaky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Farouk Mortada made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Atef Ameen sent off a good shot on target. Samir Ehab kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Atef Ameen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samir Ehab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

One of Shuri:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ismailieh:s goal. 94 minutes into the match, Ismailieh's goal looked a bit too open when Adham Walid came free, but Magdy Shehta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
