After having played for 9 minutes, Seddeq Fayez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fazarah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seddeq Fayez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Shuri getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Hussien Fareed hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Sameeh Mourad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ghali Safwat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ghali Safwat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sameeh Mourad's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ghali Safwat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sameeh Mourad in the 32nd minute of the match. Radwan Metwaly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ghali Safwat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Shuri's Sameeh Mourad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ghali Safwat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 minutes of play, Fazarah's Seddeq Fayez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Farouk Mortada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Radwan Metwaly succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 42nd playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
In the 51st match minute, Fazarah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fahmy Shady to maneuver through the defense. Ghali Safwat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sameeh Mourad, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Radwan Metwaly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sameeh Mourad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghali Safwat having to interfere. Hanafy Deyab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ghali Safwat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fazarah's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
