If Abdel Wahab Hamza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quras's Saad Darweesh got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Ziyad Raouf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berenice the free kick. Berenice's Alaa Mohanad pulled a muscle in his back after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Quras's Ziyad Raouf got his second yellow card of the match in the 12th minute. The referee ordered Ziyad Raouf off the ground. After 14 played minutes Quras got a freekick which was hit by Ziyad Raouf. Barakat Nader, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Omar Salem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gameel Akram struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Emad Qasem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berenice. Emad Qasem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Salem, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The wind increased when Abdel Wahab Hamza made the kick off in the second half. Berenice's Thabit Yousif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Wahab Hamza in the 56th minute of play. Emad Qasem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gameel Akram in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maher Seddeq during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Berenice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maher Seddeq to maneuver through the defense. Shams Fouad kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Omar Salem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emad Qasem having to interfere. Hisham Nasir hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The long shot by Barakat Nader in the 74th minute really tested Emad Qasem's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Shams Fouad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thabit Yousif having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdel Wahab Hamza in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thabit Yousif prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omar Salem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 87 minutes, Hamdy Samir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berenice and the Quras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gameel Akram's late challenge caught a Quras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gameel Akram helped the player get up and apologised. Quras's Saad Darweesh got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
