Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nasir Ramadan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mamdouh Mustafa in the 4th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Abdel Haleem Mido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tamer Kamouna. Qatta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdel Haleem Mido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Qatta's Fathy Fares got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Qatta's goal looked a bit too open when Rateb Thabit came free, but Tamer Kamouna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mutubis booed when Qatta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mamdouh Mustafa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rateb Thabit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Yehia El-Sayed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mutubis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yehia El-Sayed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Qatta's goal looked a bit too open when Rateb Thabit came free, but Tamer Kamouna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nasir Ramadan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hosny Ibrahim in the 41st minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Qatta! Ahmed Mamdouh succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 46th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Tamer Kamouna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rateb Thabit, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Rateb Thabit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tamer Kamouna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rateb Thabit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamer Kamouna having to interfere. The supporters of Mutubis booed when Qatta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hosny Ibrahim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Yehia El-Sayed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamer Kamouna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yehia El-Sayed came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Mutubis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yehia El-Sayed couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Qatta's goalkeeper Tamer Kamouna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Mutubis's goal looked a bit too open when Abdel Monsef Saleh came free, but Nasir Ramadan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdel Haleem Mido kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Fathy Fares charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fathy Fares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Qatta getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fathy Fares hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Rateb Thabit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tamer Kamouna was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 95th match minute, Mutubis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rateb Thabit to maneuver through the defense. Mutubis were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Qatta for a fine match.
